The words of the many apologists of Islam sound so confident. They speak of equality, an idea which has much currency in the West. No one is worse than another, regardless of if they differ in race, or gender, or intelligence, or wealth, or good looks. Everyone, they say, is equal, except as far as they differ in piety. That makes it sound so nice. But what is this piety of theirs? The one who is more pious is more Islamic. So what they're really saying is everyone is equal...as long as they are Muslim. Don't take to these pleasant sounding words that harbour their boatloads of disdain for all things non-Islamic! Everyone is not equal in Islam. Kafirs are far inferior to these oh so enlightened people.Knowing this, you can peek behind the curtains of another claim you hear often. That nothing about Islam is violent: the killing of innocent people is never justified by Islam. Ah, again, how nice. But who is innocent? Just think for a moment if you would be considered innocent, you who rejects Islam, the command of the very Lord of the universe! Are you innocent?
Lo! Those who hide the proofs and the guidance which We revealed, after We had made it clear to mankind in the Scripture: such are accursed of Allah and accursed of those who have the power to curse. (The Quran, 2:159)
