Invective post about the Khadr family at the Shotgun Blog on the Western Standard. Yoshi determines it would be fair to apply the laws on treason in dealing with some members of this family, and end their stay in Canada that way, though he would settle for deportation.
A commenter in the discussion mentions Ernst Zundel. I'll do the same. The attitude of these Khadrs is as useful to Canada as Zundel's. They should be deported like he was. Even if Canada lacks either the means or the will to try them for their terrorism, I'm sure the U.S. won't fail -- just as Germany didn't fail with Zundel.
Why treat them differently? Does anyone actually think these terrorists are better to have here than Zundel?

I live in Montreal, Canada, and as a Jew, am very immersed in the 'reasonable accomodation' hearings. It is a shame that Jews wearing kippot and eating kosher are painted with the same brush as Muslims who demand to vote veiled, to be served halal meat and demand constant accomodations.

Anyway, what about Canadians like my family? We're Canadian through and through, everyone except my mom grew up here, and it's the only citizenship we have.
BTW, the reasonable accomodation hearings are ridiculous. The veiled voting is a moot point (for gosh sakes, you can vote through the MAIL, never mind in person!), being served halaal meat is no big deal (we can provide it ourselves), and we rarely make constant demands because most of the time it's covered under the Charter of Rights and Freedoms.
Grow up, people! My fellow high-schoolers are more educated and open-minded than you are!

Typically when one speaks out against the the unfairness of Muslims against Jews, or Christians, for that matter, and knowing such unfairness is factual, and when doing so, one always sees the same response from Muslims who immediately cry 'racism' every single time, without ever addressing the issue at hand like their own bigotry and racism against others, like that revealed in the very subject matter of this thread and it's linked articles.
This family, exposed here (again), and in other media lately, are Muslim jihadists, espousing and planning and supporting murder from within this fine country. Those people who have immigrated to Canada, who are planning and supporting such activities against others, have no rightful place here and should go home to their own country or be deported. That's the point.
Now someone, in trying to deflect the problem onto me, for pointing out hate for Jews, islamic terror / jihad, which is not a figment of my, or thousands of others, imagination, by accusing me of 'racism' without ever dealing with the underlying problem of Islamic Jihad is an apologist and coverer for radical Islam. So I am not surprised at all over such an attack, conveniently skipping over the real and underlying issue at hand.
We see this every single day. If an infidel speaks of islamic extremism, then he/she is immediately labeled a bigot or racist by Muslims who, if they were at all against extremism, would be denouncing it, working against jihadists, cleaning up the hate spewed in mosques, rooting extremists out and exposing them for what they are, but no, that is never done. Only the cries of racism against the host nation and it's infidel citizens are heard, as is the case here today in this thread, all with the expectation it's to be protected under the Charter of rights and freedoms.
Jews especially feel threatehed by Muslims who claim to be loyal followers of the Koran and no wonder why. Here, for one example, is the teaching and advice from Islam:

I would think racism like that would be of great concern for action, renouncing and descripting, to Muslims everywhere, especially the self proclaimed moderate ones, but no it is not, for we infidels are the racists for brining it up or for questioning it.
Your Muslim rage would be better spent, for Canada, and for you, by dealing with that, rather than bitching at me.
